You should sleep with a stranger, her best friend whispers in her ear as they take to Vegas for one last pre-wedding fling. Despite her best intentions, when Kasie Fitzgerald enters the casino and sees him, a man whose tailored clothes belied a powerful, even dangerous, presence, she loses herself to the moment. Maybe it’s the dress, much shorter than she’d ever normally wear, or the Scotch, but something makes her give herself over to him more completely than she’s ever done with a man before.
It was supposed to be just one night. But right as she’s thinking she wants more, he shows up in her office with an agenda. As the billionaire CEO of a company that’s engaged her PR firm, his demands just became her reality…and he desires so much more than just some attention in the boardroom.

I really enjoyed this short story. Kasie is stuck in a relationship that deep down she knows is not what she wants. She meets Robert Dade in Vegas and has a one night stand, that turns into more and he awakens things in her sexually that she never knew she wanted. She feels like Dave (her fiance) is what is expected of her and what her parents want her to have, but there is not passion in her relationship. Shes torn between obligation and adventure with these two men.  I liked how the author depicts the struggle Kasie is going through as a angel and devil on her shoulder. Most times the devil seems to win. Of course there is a good cliffhanger at the end keeping me waiting to hear the continuation of the story in the next book. Overall this was a good sexy read and I will definitely read the next one!

About Momma's Books

Found my new love for books when a good friend sent me the Sookie books and I was stuck in a paranormal state and only wanted that then I came across Shayla Black and read her Wicked Lovers Series which got me into the contemporary romance with a "twist" and since then I have just been a reading fanatic! And LOVE every minute of my escape from reality. View all posts by Momma's Books
