10 synopsis

Wyatt Conner is a hard man. A sixth generation sheriff in his hometown of Garnet. A former MMA fighter. His life is about following the rules and making sure everyone else in Garnet follows them too.

Before life hurt him, Wyatt was different. Love had once blinded him to his upbringing and made him defiant against anyone who tried to separate him from the girl he loved. He easily broke laws to ensure her safety.

When she left it destroyed him.

Now she’s back.

Tabitha knew coming home was a mistake, but family obligation demanded it. She wasn’t expecting to run smack into the love of her life the same day she returned.

Despite the danger, Tabitha is powerless against the wild rush of desire that explodes between them the moment she finds herself in Wyatt’s arms again. She needs a second chance too, but she can’t risk Wyatt finally discovering the real reason she left.

Even for another taste of true love.

Tabitha knows her haunted past will destroy both of them if Wyatt finds out. What she suffered through was too terrible and it’s the one thing that will have him crossing the line for revenge.

Review

I have absolutely fallen in love with this author! I don’t think she has been as acknowledged as she should be. She does an amazing job! I first started with the first book in her Eden series (Beyond EdenI wanted something that had good dirty talk and that was suggested to me and I was not disappointed.

So when I heard about this series I couldn’t wait to start it. Although as a heads up if you have read her Eden books and then come to this one they are NOTHING alike as far as context goes. This series there is no bdsm. It is a great romance though. For me the first book was a tad slow. I didn’t give up on it tough because I wanted  more. I love the banter. And well I loved Wyatt. I had to wait to get his story though.

Have to say the second book stole my heart! This one so far in the series is different then the others. We start off in the present but a big chunk of it was in the past, it explains SO much about the relationship between Watt and Tabitha. We also get more Clay in this one also, this helps to explain more about him as well. Then we get back to the present and what can I say other than I absolutely fell in LOVE with Romeo and his brothers and we get to see them later in this book.

This one will make you laugh, tear up and even want to kill someone. There is so much piled into this book. I loved Wyatt from the get go his sense of humor is the best. BUT there is a brokenness in him, one that we see from the get go we just don’t know the whole story up until now.

It never ceases to amaze me how Kele can just break through to my heart and just make me fall even more in love with a character. I have made a connection with the people in this series and look forward to EVERY single ONE! I really wish that more people would read the books that Kele Moon writes. BUT maybe in time she will get the recognition she deserves!

There is so much love between the people in this series that I can’t see how it wouldn’t touch the person reading these books deep down. I know for me it did. I look forward to the next one!

About Momma's Books

Found my new love for books when a good friend sent me the Sookie books and I was stuck in a paranormal state and only wanted that then I came across Shayla Black and read her Wicked Lovers Series which got me into the contemporary romance with a "twist" and since then I have just been a reading fanatic! And LOVE every minute of my escape from reality. View all posts by Momma's Books
