Titile: Undressed

Author: Avery Aster

Series: The Manhattanites #1

10 synopsis

Milan’s notorious playboy, Prince Tittoni, seems to have everything—Lamborghinis, exotic women, palaces throughout Europe and business success. Ramping up his fabric company to go global with a new apparel brand, he ruthlessly stops supplying fabrics to the American client who inspired the collection. But once they meet, what’s he willing to give to get her in his bed?

Upper East Side designer Lex Easton has already endured her fair share of hard knocks. She’ll be damned if she’ll let an Italian stud muffin knock her down. So what if she named her favorite vibrator after him? With Fashion Week approaching, she’ll do whatever it takes to secure the fabrics she needs to make her clothing line an international success—even sleep with her rival.

Lex’s Louboutins are dug in deep to win this war. All’s fair in love and fashion!

So I have seen this all over the place and for the most part it has good review ratings so I thought why not right?! I have to say I would agree with the majority. I enjoyed the story.

This was a funny, sweet, HOT and pretty quick read. She was what I picture as the typical New Yorker. I loved the smart mouth she had on her.

And some of those scenes oh my goodness they were pretty damn hot and X rated for sure.

I do understand that it is fiction but I really am not a big fan of people falling in love so quickly. To me a week just isn’t long enough to really know that. Or at least I don’t believe it is. There was that and … Okay don’t hate me for this one but I have a hard time reading about a man who is “uncut”. It won’t make me stop reading a book it doesn’t completely kill it for me but it does kind of give me the heebie geebies. Nothing against men who are uncircumcised but it just isn’t my first choice. That in part may be partly because I have never been with one (yes I know TMI).

Overall it was very sweet and cute. It had moments that were funny as well. It was entertaining reading about these to struggling for the upper hand. I think for me out of the 4 best friends (Taddy, Lex, Blake, Vive) Vive is the one I am the most excited to read about once her book is out!

Review ~ Together in Cyn by Jennifer Kacey

Title: Together in Cyn

Author: Jennifer Kacey

Series: Members Only #1

10 synopsis

She knows it’s wrong. Cyn shouldn’t have feelings for fraternal twins Jared and Chris, her best friends. She shouldn’t want them to tie her up or strap her down, to take her one at a time—or together. The only way to control her taboo desires is to write them down and lock them away in her diary. Guys like Jared and Chris could never be interested in someone like her, or in the kind of sex she craves.

But Jared and Chris have read her diary, and sweet little Cyn is in for the shock of her life. The brothers not only own a members-only BDSM club, they want her. Need her. And now, with their unlimited funds and an entire establishment devoted to fulfilling her darkest pleasures, they’re going to claim Cyn for their own.

Inside Scoop: If you have a kink, this book probably has it too. If you like your ménage romances extra hot with a side of male-male romance, spanking, voyeurism and girl-on-girl action, come and get it.

I am never disappointed when reading a book that is put out by Ellora’s Cave! And when I find a Taboo one I am always quick to jump on it! 😉 I have to say that it was pretty damn hot! I enjoyed it very much! Okay so this book is the first in the series and I plan on reading them all! I do like a book that gets right into it. It doesn’t take much time for you to get started on the steamy-ness. I was sold the instant we get the image of the guys in leathers! I couldn’t put it down I needed to know more I had to have more of them. One of the things that I do love about this one is it isn’t too long either so you get to get your fill and it doesn’t take days to get through. Although there is nothing wrong with having a long story full of steamy-ness like this!

And the name of their club!? BRILLIANT!!

I have become a pretty big fan of menage. So this was a good one! BUT it was a little strange with brothers, I honestly wasn’t sure how I was going to like it but I really enjoyed it. It wasn’t weird at all. For those who may not know there is a HUGE difference between M/F/M and M/M/F and this is the first!  I did get sucked into the hot sex, I mean who wouldn’t? It was hot! But with that there was something that had me at a loss. I was so surprised and just didn’t know what to think. I usually can figure out or at least have an idea of how some stuff will work out but when there are some twist and turns that are put in I do have to say that I enjoy them. I loved that there was a deeper story. Something that was just so sad, heart wrenching and something that in the end can pull people closer or push them apart.  I am looking forward to reading all in this series!

Review – Beyond Shame by Kit Rocha

 Erotic, Dystopian, light BDSM, Menage+

All Noelle Cunningham has ever wanted is a life beyond–beyond the walls of Eden, where only the righteous are allowed to remain, and beyond her stiflingly restrictive existence as a councilman’s daughter. But only ruins lie outside the City, remnants of a society destroyed by solar storms decades earlier.

The sectors surrounding Eden house the corrupt, the criminal–men like Jasper McCray, bootlegger and cage fighter. Jas clawed his way up from nothing to stand at the right hand of Sector Four’s ruthless leader, and he’ll defend the O’Kane gang with his life. But no fight ever prepared him for the exiled City girl who falls at his feet.

Her innocence is undeniable, but so is their intense sexual attraction, and soon they’re crossing every boundary Noelle barely knew she had. But if she wants to belong to Jas, first she’ll have to open herself to the gang, to a dangerous world of sex, lust and violence. A world where passion is power, and freedom is found in submission.

I have read a lot of erotic books and this one was pretty damn hot! I when it came down to the sex scenes I was at a loss for words. I couldn’t stop reading either  I have not gotten on the dystopian wagon and I will have to say with this being my read in this type of genre I am SOLD! I had went onto goodreads and posted in a group that I am a part of that I wanted a good hot steamy dirty read. And this was brought up by someone in there and it ohhh sooo fits HOT, STEAMY, and DIRTY!

I am ohhh so happy I finally got around to reading this one. I didn’t want to stop reading but like always it took me longer to finish it because I had to stop to do house things. One I got close to the ending I tried to slow down and I didn’t want it to end. This is my kind of book I know that there are others that are similar and I am now going to be on the hunt and will be trying to wait for the next one to come out.

For those who might be interested in reading the book I don’t want to scare anyone off and have them thinking that the book is only full of sex but it isn’t. There is HOT sex but there is a story line also. But the sex makes it SO much better.. as it always does. 🙂 and it doesn’t hurt that the men are all big muscle, alpha, dominating men. And as Flash says.

“Monsters always get the girls, We’re the ones who can keep them safe.”

Ohhh how true that is in all my favorite ‘bad boy/asshole’ guy type of books.

I am sure if anyone looked at me while I read this book they would know when I got to the good steamy parts because I am sure I turned a little red from the hotness that was going on my iPad. I know that when I was reading about a party that Dallas was throwing I was at a loss to the world I was now sitting there at the party watching as if it were happening  (okay maybe just wishful thinking haha) I knew I loved Jas when he says.

“You wont know if you like pleasuring other men until you do it.

Get your mouth on his dick this time.”

He reached out and slid his hand up Lex’s spine. “Move over, greedy bitch.”

I knew that if this is going on in only chapter four.. it can only get better! And ohhh how right that is! I can not wait to see what else happens in the next book.

Review – His Gift by Gillian Colbert

Owin has a surprise for Maurina unlike anything she could have anticipated. Ever her Master, he’s determined to fulfill all of her fantasies, even the ones she doesn’t admit to … like having two men at once.

Now, on their first anniversary, he has a surprise for her that will take her to heights of ecstasy she’s never experienced before, but is she ready to accept his special gift?

This was a very short but steamy read! After I was done I wanted more about Owin and Maurina! I wanted a prequel…. SOMETHING haha I mean who wouldnt want it?? I was left with so many questions.

Here is the intro paragraph:

‘She shivered in the dry coolness of the hotel room. Goosebumps erupted on her skin as she settled herself more comfortably on the bed. She was naked except for a black, silk blindfold that she’d knotted around her eyes as instructed.’

Review – Dangerous Boys and their Toy by Shayla Black

20120823-205253.jpgGOODREADS DESCRIPTION:

Trading orgasms for information isn’t their usual way of doing business, but when a missing criminal-turned-star-witness and fifty grand are on the line, bounty hunter R. A. Thorn and Detective Cameron Martinez are prepared to put their bodies to the task and give gorgeous Brenna Sheridan everything she needs.

An exchange they never anticipated becomes an experience none can forget – or walk away from. Sexual hunger sizzles the threesome, but the stakes and danger rise as a mafia bad-ass stalks Brenna.

Soon, their “deal” is no longer about information-or sex. Emotions bind Brenna, Cam and Thorn together more tightly than they ever imagined as the men protect – and serve – the beloved woman neither can live without.

Reader advisory: Book contains some scenes of same-gender sex.

Okay so I had read other books that I thought were steamy and hot but this was the first one that I had read that was erotic. And all I have to say is WOW!!! after reading this I was sold and made it my mission to get some good HOT erotica mixed in to my reading! Had I known about the genre years ago I would have gotten into reading again much sooner! and YES you have to be okay with male/male it gets worked up to and WOW!
It is funny because when there is a moment where there is touching between the guys and well one just isn’t as sure about it as the other:

“Are you gay?”
“No. Im open minded”

it was well worth the work up! SO freaking HOT!! I loved it. No it isn’t realistic for something like this to actually happen and just happen so fast but that is the JOY of reading. to be able to escape reality and just imagine it is real, to them. It is a short story though and I kind of wish we got a little something like an epilogue telling us what became later. But all in all I would have to say that YES it is defiantly a READER!!

Eden Series by Kele Moon

I was looking for something that had some really GOOD dirty talk and was told to try these and I have to say …. OH yes did they have some pretty good dirty talk! I loved everything about these books now not everyone will becuase there is menage and it isnt always m/f/m it mixes up and does have m/m/f  along with just m/m and for me I have no problem with it. So just be forwarned because I know a friend of mine who was reading it with me was having a hard time with reading those parts. I had finished before she did and started book two and told her that if the m/m parts bothered her then she wouldnt be able to get into the second book. I LOVE the relationship that they all have together. There were parts that caused me to tear up and others that I couldnt help but laugh, and well others I just had to fan myself.

A little information I found from the author when asked about this series:

“When I first started Beyond Eden (A dark BDSM M/m/F story) I hadn’t planned on it being as dark as it was. However, when their story started unfolding, when I saw how much Paul enjoyed pain, how desperately he needed it to keep him grounded and how special his relationship with Danny was because his best friend was able to give him what he needed most—I decided to go all in.
Yes, this story has blood play. It’s dark and gritty and more often on the edge than not.
Why? Because that’s what the characters demanded. Paul is a big, tough masochist who likes to take it as hard as Danny will give it and then ask for more and I’ve always been of the opinion if you’re going to go there—GO THERE.
It’s a love or hate book. People either love it for the darkness or hate it.

Mainstream is fun, but sometimes I have to rock the boat a little (Or a lot). I need to write the darker romances too, because make no mistake, Beyond Eden is still a love story about three very different people, who like three very different things, but still want the same thing everyone else does. . . To love and be loved without judgment and I think that’s the appeal for me. To give the deviants their happy endings, to show that everyone deserves to be loved, even a big, buff masochist with a dark past who didn’t believe he could allow himself to really be loved until two people came along and proved him wrong. Now what’s a little blood next to that?”

These are a good intro to BDSM! They were my first taste of it and all I have to say is I was hooked after I read these! Hot alpha males some have military history some law enforcement and then there is the chef.. they are all there to help that one woman the damsel and distress. They are great romance with BDSM as well as a mystery/thriller. I haven’t been disappointed yet.

Review – Nobody’s Angel by Kallypso Masters

Marc d’Alessio might own a BDSM club with his fellow military veterans, Adam and Damian, but he keeps all women at a distance. However, when Marc rescues beautiful Angelina Giardano from a disastrous first BDSM experience at the club, an uncharacteristic attraction leaves him torn between his safe, but lonely world, and a possible future with his angel.

Angelina leaves BDSM behind, only to have her dreams plagued by the Italian angel who rescued her at the club. When she meets Marc at a bar in her hometown, she can’t shake the feeling she knows him, but has no idea why he reminds her of her angel.

When Marc’s search-and-rescue partner, widower Luke Denton, confides he believes Angelina is the angel his wife promised to send him, Marc is convinced she is meant for Luke. A painful incident from his past keeps Marc from letting any woman drive a wedge between him and a friend.

While Luke can provide Angelina with love and stability, Marc knows his friend can’t satisfy her submissive needs. Marc offers one night to show her that BDSM is not about pain, but a power exchange with mutual trust and consent. But he knows he can’t commit emotionally to anything more.

When the abusive Dom from Angelina’s past threatens, Marc’s protective instincts kick in; he must keep her safe. Again at the Masters at Arms Club, she turns the tables on him and turns his safe, controlled world upside down. (Book Two in the RESCUE ME series; follows introduction to series, MASTERS AT ARMS.)

My Thoughts:

I enjoyed this one. I just LOVE that the author gives you famous people she thinks the characters look like. And in this one She says that Marc looks like Raoul Bova from Under the Tuscan Sun. I had to do a search and found the perfect picture of him I thought. And was like OKAY now I can continue with a NICE picture in my head of who he looks like.

Who the author says resembles Marc. (Raoul Bova)

I am always a fan of the damsel in distress and here you get some of that. And he is just everything you would expect in a beautiful Italian man. I was thrown there for a little bit with the trio. I wasn’t sure how it was going to go for sure. (I don’t like to read the descriptions of the books before I read them I like to be surprised) So as I went along there is so much that happens in this book. It sets up 2 of the future books and so you know who is going to end up with who and how it comes about. I also love how she puts all the characters in the books so you don’t feel like you are just reading about 2 people and not everyone else that is a part of the series you fell like it is still about all the guys it just goes into more description on one in particular but they are all still there. I know it has to be hard to not drift off and go into a totally different direction when writing that way. I have to say this one was good and got me towards the ending I did start to tear up at a few spots. And once it was done I couldn’t wait to get started on to the next book. I also enjoyed how she ends the book with the set up for the next book I am so glad I didn’t have to wait for the 3rd book because I just felt so emotionally invested that I had to know what was going to happen with Adam.
